Native Abode

Crown Point

10/10 Excellent

Staying at Native Abode was the highlight of my very short trip to Tobago! Stein picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry terminal at no charge and was extremely friendly and hospitable throughout my stay. He was always smiling, happy to help, and prepared a delicious breakfast the next morning. The backyard has a beautiful garden, and the area is quiet and residential. I borrowed one of the hotel's free bikes to get around Pigeon Point, which was also a great experience. I had lost my room...

Miller's Guest House

Buccoo

10/10 Excellent

Pros and cons from a seasoned traveler. Pros: amazing waterside location. The guest house is located directly above the local fishing pier, so you can watch people come and go all day, unload and clean their fish. It is a short walk to Buccoo beach, which is incredible. There's about 4 restaurants, 4 bars and a few walk-up counters that are walking distance to Miller's. Bring cash! No ATM in the village. Great town, great location. The cons: you have to be okay with noise. This town is...

Half Moon Blue

Scarborough

10/10 Excellent

After reading the reviews, I was very skeptical to stay here. It was my birthday and honeymoon so I really wanted the perfect place to relax, have fun and enjoy. I decided to take the chance and see what happens and I am extremely happy that I did. This place is beautiful and the cool island breeze and sea view is amazing. Believe me, based on the reviews, I tried to find something about Half Moon Blue, but honestly could not. From the wonderful receptionist Cathy, that had a fruit tray and...

Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort

10/10 Excellent

The hotel is very spacious. The main pool is gorgeous. I booked the 2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi for my 29th wedding anniversary. My cousin also accompanied my wife and I who utilized the second bedroom. The jacuzzi was inoperable which was very disappointing ! The living room floor kept encountering condensation on the floor. Our room 242 had an unbelievable view of the ocean! The buffet breakfast was ok. The let down for us was few choices of Trinidadian food. Saltfish, baigan choka and roti....
