"We stayed for a week and Vera’s had all the amenities required to make our holiday pleasant. Check in was super easy, as was check out. Vera was kind enough to allow an earlier check in as well, which was great. Only really had two issues during our stay. Surrounding neighbours could get quite noisy at times and some kind of alarm went off every morning at 1am. Some mornings it would go off several times, others only once. Not sure where it was coming from, but it was quite annoying being woken...

"Highview is a quiet property but still close to the center. The kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for and my family and me very much enjoyed staying there. It's very spacious, so everyone can be in their own room or we can all hang out in the living room, enjoy the free Netflix and spend time together. We had an amazing time, Gina was very helpful regarding recommendations for dinner and what to do in the area. Will definitely come back! "

"We came back to this property as we found it such a lovely place to stay. The owner is very welcoming, the property is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also quite centrally located; Cairns is about 20 minutes, the Atherton tablelands about an hour and the daintree about an hour and a half away- all easy day trips. There is also a nice walk along the river at the back of the property. The airport is only 18 minutes away, which we found very convenient at the end of our stay. Thanks for having...
