"We stayed for two weeks and appreciated having this house as a base from which to take daily driving trips in the Perigord. The nearby town of Lalinde had all the services we needed, such as bakery, supermarket, gas station, hair salon, post office, cafes and a good restaurant on the main square. The Thursday market was great! We took day trips to Sarlat, Lascaux IV, the Sunday market at Issigeac, Eymet, La Roque-Gageac and many other charming villages. The region is beautiful and varied. The house itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the house is quiet and dark at night. The kitchen is well designed, the fridge large, the washing machine and drying racks handy so we could do laundry during our stay. The pool, which we did not use due to the rainy weather, looked beautiful, as did the whole property. Parking is easy. The house would be particularly well suited for a family with young children, as it has a cute little playroom, bunk beds, a spacious gated garden and the pool. The only negative for us was that the house did not get internet or cell phone reception. We had to drive into Lalinde for that. I think the listing should specify that internet coverage is not reliable, as that might be important for some people. Can that be fixed? All in all, a very nice house and a lovely stay. Thank you!"

"A fabulous property. Beautiful old buildings but very contemporary interior. An extremely cool place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Lovely stylish room, great contemporary shared spaces and fabulous bathroom. "

"We are just back from our four week stay at PERROT. The property is simply beautiful. Our Gite was our home base as we explored this beautiful area, This is a perfect location for day trips to all of the beautiful villages in the area. You can reach all of the towns in an hour or less. The gite was the perfect place to come ‘home’ after a day of exploring. A beautiful three bedroom home, beautifully stylized, and complete with every essential. The washer/dryer means you can pack comfortably light for your trip. The pool and beautiful grounds are an added bonus. Bettina and Christopher were gracious hosts. Their knowledge of the area was so valuable as they were able to recommend the best restaurants and markets in the area. They were always available for any questions or needs we had. The ‘gite’ is completely private with its own yard, patio with table and chairs and umbrella, and lounging chairs for some quiet time in the backyard. I can’t thank Bettina and Christopher enough for the opportunity to enjoy our visit to The Dordogne in such a relaxing way."

"This small house is just as enchanting as it looks in the photos! It is well equipped and Olivier was quick to respond when we asked for help with the washing machine. It is located in quiet countryside and it should be noted that, although the VRBO pin makes it appear to be very close to the charming village of Lalinde, it is actually a bit of a drive on country roads. I am so glad I found this place."

"This was a fabulous choice as a stop over on our Dordogne adventure. Chris was there to welcome us and show us around the property, and even though we were a little early he invited us in to enjoy the facilities. The room was quaint with lovely French decor, with all the modern facilities added to our experience. Great Wifi, air conditioning & a large shower were all a great bonus. As well as the fresh bed linen on the huge bed. The breakfast was beautifully laid out on the terrace for us, which we wish we could have brought home with us. Homemade yoghurt and asorted jams, croissants, pan au chocolat and lovely fresh coffee. The attention to detail was great. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful residence. "My husband and I have just spent 11 nights here in the 1 bedroom gite. We were looking for a totally chilled, relaxing holiday and this place didn't dissapoint. Daniel and Iwona made us feel really welcome as soon as we arrived. We were shown around the gite and grounds and everything was explained to us. The location is absolutely beautiful, not too far away from places to visit, but just so peaceful and quiet. If we needed anything or had any questions Daniel was straight on it. We plan to return to France in the future and this is the place that we'll definately be staying at again! We would highly recommend it to anybody."
