"Half of the hotel would have no power for that day and the next.Wish we would have known this ahead of getting there.They did find a room with power for us. We wanted a suite with all the amenities, but the fireplace didn't work. No cups for coffee or water. They said they were completely out. If you get a room with the bay view just know it will be VERY Noisy. But it was clean and we would stay again."

"What a pleasant surprise! While the motel is surrounded by industrial landscape, it's 3 minutes drive from Coos's lovely downtown. It's located in quite a noisy intersection, but the noise subsided completely around 9 pm. There was no need for a/c because of the cool weather. The fan did the job. GREAT find for the price. Receptionist a bit grumpy, but efficient. "

"Clean, older well-maintained motel with reasonable rates for the Oregon coast. Friendly helpful staff. This was second yearly visit I stayed at Economy Inn in Reedsport and I plan on coming back next year. Reedsport is midway between Florence and Coos Bay and also has nearby beaches and lakes, so it's a good jumping off point for seeing the central Oregon coast."

"What a wonderful place... Yes, I give this cute Model 10/10.. I'm not comparing it to the Hilton but similar Models on our trip.. This old, but upgraded Motel offers a wonderful, unobstructed view of the bay..Very comfortable beds and the ability to actually cook! It offers the standard microwave but also 2 electric burners and a moderate sized fridge.. In its own room! Full Bathroom supplies and nice nice hot water.. Clean/crisp sheets..Even room temp from the Thermostat.. Every staff member...

"The receptionists at the front desk was very nice and cheerful! Her demeanor was pleasant and inviting. The property was clean, aside from one dark hair on the hand towel in the bathroom. "This place is very interesting. It appears most occupants are out of work and are just hanging out all day. No real room service, but an "inspection squad" of two came bombing through the door in the afternoon looking for "dust" so they might clean. Never had that happen before and is probably not a hotel industry standard. I would not stay at this place. Very scary. "
