"We arrived on a Saturday booked 4 nights got a great price for the quality of the accommodation Staff were really helpful and friendly stayed till late with a late check out at a good rate .. cannot fault this place for its facilities and hospitality thank you for a fabulous stay "

"The apartment is in a lovely complex, however, the pool not available throughout our stay as it was being refurbished with the sound of drilling throughout the day time. We had not been made aware of this and would not have booked the apartment had we known. The owner was not in anyway accomodating towards making good by way of some compensation. Even a small amount would have shown some kindness. The apartment is in need of some care, there was a very strong damp smell throughout and we could not leave windows open as the traffic was too noisy. Towels provided were few and threadbare. I have stayed in the Marfolin apartments 4 times, this one comes last. I love El Cotillo but was most disappointed with the way we were treated by the owner."

"This apartment is amazing. The other 3 looked equally amazing. Everything in for a fabulous stay. Wake up to sea views over the lagoons beach and playa la concha beach. The evenings clouded up so only got one sunset and it was quite a chilly wind but was mostly fine. There was a lot of building work but noise not too bad and it was only between 8.30 am and 5pm but not weekends . Úrsula was very nice and kept in touch and we didn’t arrive to village until nearly 10pm and she came to check us in. We have been staying in Cotillo for over 30 years and stayed in various places and this the best and will not hesitate to come back here. Thanks for a great stay "

"This is a lovely large one bedroomed apartment with a wonderful corner balcony overlooking the first lagoon beach in El Cotillo and the swimming pool. It had everything we needed - a fully equipped kitchen, fabulous bathroom, comfortable spacious lounge and lovely bedroom with separate dressing room (and beach views from every window)! This is prime sunny location, right on the beach but also within easy walking distance to the centre and harbour with numerous restaurants, bars, cafes etc. El Cotillo is a charming fishing village with a very chilled vibe and fantastic sandy beaches with crystal clear water. Of course like most places it is gradually getting more built up and there was some building work going on in the village. Sometimes we could hear a repetitive hammering sound when we were on the balcony during the day but it wasn’t very loud and it didn’t unduly disturb us. Otherwise the apartment complex was very quiet - we stayed in mid February and sometimes we had the pool to ourselves! We thoroughly enjoyed this beach location with fantastic views up the coastal lagoons and of course the amazing sunsets, which we enjoyed watching from the balcony. A great location which we can thoroughly recommend to others. Thanks to the owners and the local contacts Ursula and James for a really lovely stay."

"Staff were welcoming, efficient. Cleaners were helpful and always friendly. Breakfast choices were extensive. Gluten Free items were available. Convenient for town restaurants and the beach. There was a sense of being looked after in all aspects of the stay. El Cotillo as a town felt safe."

"Fantastic villa in superb condition with a large pool in a quiet residential area. Dealings with the owner were excellent, she really couldn't do enough to help. El Cotillo is a 15-20 min walk but there is an hourly bus service. Highly recommended!"
