"The home sits on an inlet on Puget Sound with a view of the Olympic Mountains. The inlet is teaming with birds, seals, fish ...the tidal pool close by provide much entertainment. The house sleeps 10 comfortably..adding additional quests would be challenging. The decks provide lovely gathering spots. Kayaks were provided with paddles and life jackets. We enjoyed the quiet surrounding."

"It was very clean and inviting inside. There’s no real kitchen but it had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bathroom is very nice! Smart TVs in the rooms. The windows face the back yard which is very green and we saw a mother deer and her faun grazing. Fantastic experience!"

"Great communication with the host and a comfy home"

"The pictures were better than it was. The driveway could barely be seen from the street because of grown weeds 3' tall, and missing #'s.The yard had tall weeds everywhere too with bits of trash. The floors were uneven, the furniture not comfortable. You weren't supposed to flush any toilet paper in the toilet due to septic system. The king size bed had board slats you could feel. The couch had a very short back and was not comfortable. Everything was new looking and nicely done but cleaning...

"We had a lovely stay. The house was as advertised and accommodated us well. If I was back in the area I would gladly stay there again. We had a small hiccup with check in but our host was available and attentive and we got things sorted out quickly."

"This property is elegantly decorated yet cozy. All of us enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and playing games. I played the baby grand and we had some sing-alongs and ping pong matches. "This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time."
