"While dated, it does seem like they were updating things. The building and the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony was a nice unexpected amenity. The pool was cold and the hot tub was hot, which was nice. Unfortunately the microwave only sometimes got anything warm, the hair dryer did not work, nor did the phones. Also just a heads up to families with kids who travel with extra things, this is a two floor building with no elevator and the hallways are very long. We had a room with a king bed and had to rearrange some furniture to make a pack and play fit for our baby to sleep, and while it is typically easier to grab breakfast and bring it back to the room to feed the kiddos, here there are signs in the breakfast area stating you will forfeit your deposit if you take food back to the room. Also, while it is refunded after your stay, there is a $100 deposit that you are not informed about until check in."

"Very nice cottage. Parking right outside. Great view of the water, despite a row of cottages diwn the hill. You could hear the water at night. Has a 360 degree wrap around deck. Bed was comfy. There were lots of extras....i think they thought of everything. It was a quick drive to the parks and restaurants. I locked myself out, and the host was quick to help me. It was clean. I loved the bathroom mirror....now i want one. Just one suggestion: My husband is quite tall. The living room chairs are small. He looked really uncomfortable, but he just didn't want to hog the couch for 2 days. I felt bad for him. Lol The couch was long, though, so he got a nap. "

"The house had patches of walls unpainted, it was missing oulet covers in both bedrooms, it was listed as having outdoor patio furniture which was not there. We left the apartment as instructed by the manual. Clean. Dishes cleaned an put away, used towles left on the bathroom floor, took the trash out. Yet they charged my insurance 500 for damages yet listed it as a deep cleaning. "

"This home was spacious and clean. We had 4 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of room for all. We stayed over a cold, Holiday weekend but we were warm and cozy inside with a well-equipped kitchen to keep our culinary interests engaged, as we had all the tools we needed. The home is very close to the Indiana Dunes National Park so we took a day trip there. Great long weekend. Scott was available and helpful as needed."
