Don't be misled by the "hostel" designation of this guest house - it is really a boutique, luxury residence in the heart of Daikon Island. First and foremost, the guesthouse owner, who speaks very good English, was very kind and drove me around the whole day. "The rooms was spotless, the staff endlessly helpful, the hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. The public and private baths are the perfect temperature as well. Lastly, the location that is essentially on top of Izumo-taisha - which you should absolutely visit - and local shops. 10/10 I will be staying here in the future."

"Only one place I could stay in this south suburb of Matsue, which is closer to my destination of visit. It's cheap so no fridge, no microwave, which made a little difficult for my 5 night stay."
