The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!"

"Spa Pool was perfect "

"The drive up to the manor was hard to manoeuvre in certain areas due to us having a 12 seater transit van. We had alot of wet weather during our stay so had alot of water and debris on the driveway also.In saying that, the manor was exactly what we wanted. It had enough space to accomodate all of us, it was clean, tidy and the grounds and surroundings were very tranquil. The home had everything we needed including pots, pans etc to ensure we could have home cooked meals. The beds were super comfortable and all rooms had spare blankets which we used during the storms. The house had 3 floors but didnt take long to heat up during the cold weather. There were 2 main bathrooms for us to shower in and 2 extra toilets which was very handy. We had an issue with the bottom gate and were able to contact the owner and resolve the issue straight away. Communication was fantastic. I would definately recommend the property and will look at returning next time we are in Wellington."
