"This was the perfect get away for nothing but R & R! This home is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains secluded from the world. The only neighbors that you have is the deer family that graze in the field & on the crabapple tree, bunnies hopping across the yard, butterflies frolicking in the air & the hummingbirds stopping by to take a drink from their feeder on the front porch. They love to visit you while rocking away the time in the rocking chairs or swinging on the front porch swing. You can play a game or 2 of foosball on the porch as well. Bring your steaks, burgers & dogs to grill as the gas grill is ready to help you have a feast. Forgot seasonings? No worries there! This place is stocked with everything you can possibly need. Just bring your clothes, toothbrush & enjoy the comforts of home away from home. Three nice sized bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. The beds were comfortable & the bathrooms are stocked with shampoos, body washes, toilet tissue & tissues. No skimping here - nice name brand with softness. The entire home is warm and welcoming. Slightly dated, but still comfortable and welcoming. I look forward to staying here again when our family goes back to the mountains. Biggest perk…..It’s about an hour away from the new Buc-ee’s! "

"Family was in town for a baseball tournament. Was a great quiet place that was clean and well maintained. Pond was fun to fish in. Lots of nice areas to hang out outside or inside. Would definitely come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was spotless, well equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect… Peaceful and serene. We especially loved the outdoor space which had a kitchen and a pool. We had eight grandchildren with us that said it was the best vacation yet. Randy the host was responsive and made check in easy. We definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway"

"This was by far the most clean, organized, and welcoming VRBO we have stayed in. Because of its distance to a town, Maria let us know ahead of time so we could plan accordingly. She went out of her way to make sure we had access to the home that best fit our schedule. The house is beautifully decorated, has quality linens, nicely done appliances, and small comforts of home. Seating is everywhere:) "

"This was our second stay at Lorraine’s cozy cabin and it was just as wonderful as our first! The location is convenient, as it is within 20 minutes of several of our favorite local wineries, breweries, trails, and attractions. Lorraine is incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and even left us brownies, eggs, and firewood. We highly recommend!"

"Absolutely LOVED everything about our stay. The house is beautiful. Everything was well stocked. The towels feel amazing and there were plenty available. Check-in and out was seamless. The location was perfect - far enough away to be secluded and private but still close to things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub at night and enjoying the view from the porch in the mornings. We will definitely be booking again soon! "
