He gave me insight on what restaurant to eat at even thought the options were limited for a traveler without a car. The only issue I had was that theirs was no shuttle service and the taxi prices were pretty pricey from the hotel to the airport because they charge a flat rate. Even though the taxi from the airport to the hotel was much cheaper because they charge the regular distance rate as most taxi services do."

The host Miranda speaks fluent English and is very accommodating with requests, if she is able to oblige. The location is only 25 minutes from Malpensa Airport and offers easy driving access to the lakes and mountains. Highly recommended for a relaxing break"

"What an amazing place to spend a couple of summer weeks! A well-equipped villa with a wonderful open-plan living area, big garden, large pool and a view that takes your breath away. We could easily walk downhill to the village but be prepared for an uphill return. Communication with the owner was excellent and all questions were answered promptly and fully. Even at the busiest time of year, the area around Ranco is not overcrowded, with plenty to do and easy boat access to the busier areas of the lake for those who want it. We will be back! "

"Can not speak highly enough of the facility and hospitality. Bed super comfortable, staff accommodating. We had been travelling all night, tired +++, they showed us quiet area by lake with sunbeds to relax, got us into our room early so we could sleep, made sure we we had food and drink. Awesome place to relax for a few days."

"The hotel is located in good place - near the lack, but not close enough to the lake. You could enjoy the good view, but you have no place to sit - all the tables outside are used by restaurant. The room is simple and not pampering. I just have a feeling that the place could be more attractive. "
