"Great location to visit many area attractions, and close to several small towns. Lovely home, well furnished, comfortable beds; easy check in and out. We did have an issue with the internet (was out for 3 days), but it was due to thunderstorms in the area. The owner tried several times to check when internet service would be restored. Great nearby restaurant recommendations. Very quiet neighborhood, loved seeing deer on the property.Something new this year.............if you plan to go to Pearson's Falls, you must make online reservations."
Small Town Charm Tryon North Carolina

"Great location for our weekend plans. Walked the dog around the town which was very dog friendly. Would stay there again. Two things to keep in mind - 1. My cellphone internet wouldn’t work inside the house I believe due to metal roof. I could get service while walking the dog or while out to eat which meant I had to make plans elsewhere for activities. 2. My older mom and aunt had difficulty getting in and out of the tub."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage in the woods. The property is incredibly cute and has a cozy, welcoming feel. It had most everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we especially enjoyed the front porch , where we could just relax in the peaceful surroundings. The location was great as well with restaurants and other amenities nearby. The fully equipped kitchen was also nice.A couple of things future guests may want to know: a storm had washed out part of the driveway before we arrived. This was clearly an act of nature and not something the owners could control, but it could have been challenging for a smaller or lower-clearance rental car with no parking on the street. Fortunately, we had an SUV and had no problem. Also, the fourth bedroom is actually an open loft rather than a fully enclosed/private bedroom. That worked ok for our group, but it’s worth knowing in advance if privacy is important.Overall, we loved the charm, character, and peaceful setting of this little cottage and had a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Doug was a delight to work with. He was very responsive and accommodating. The pool was huge and relaxing. The house was incredible and had everything you could need. Overall, an amazing experience for myself and family."

"This is a cute tiny cabin. The pros are it’s convenient to both Landrum and Tryon. The hot tube was great and we thought the bed was very comfortable. Cons: The TV was in a very weird spot and could not be moved to watch from the couch or the bed. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to work the TV. I found out the remote was dead and needed to be charged, that is something that should be done before we arrive. There are very few glasses in the kitchen. I had to drink wine from a coffee cup. It could use a paint job over the areas that have been patched, just makes the feel of the cabin undone. All in all we had a great trip but maybe include a book of area attractions and restaurants and how to operate certain things in the cabin."
