"Excellent location and access to local services. Hotel experience tainted by rude receptionist, poor WiFi (3mbps), no TV reception ( broken aerial on roof), bathroom fan not working but noisy. When reported all issues were dismissed- WiFi excellent- yes in lobby, to is weather related despite obvious broken aerial etc"
"Location excellent, staff well trained and excellent. Room was very good. Outside area had great views but some stained seat covers and lots of cracked tiles. Spa was a waste of time as very busy and ended up just sitting in pool as all the jacuzzi areas full. Spa had lots of loose tiles around pool too. Breakfast was excellent. Cheeky £12 per day add on for parking your car in already overpriced hotel. Not quite 5 star but I think this is a self awarded rating and not AA affiliated."
"This was a nice place to stay for a few nights, and quiet apart from the neighbour’s yappy dog and in a great central location for Windermere.
Helpful staff, breakfast was good - perhaps could do with slightly bigger portion sizes though.
The shower was tiny. Only comfortable if you are child-sized. This was my only bugbear as I am a 6ft fat bloke.
Car parking plentiful. But be aware if you have an SUV you might struggle to get round the back because of the poor parking of others making it...
