Third year in a row we had a wonderful time on Sapphire Lake! As always the kids, and parents, had a blast at the beach and on the watercraft, particularly the paddle board. The house has all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay.

We gathered all our children from 3 different locations here for a fabulous week. Ages from almost 2-74! House was so comfortable & Jean has everything! Beds were comfortable, kitchen outfitted with everything needed to feed a gang of 12-14 at times❤️Great beach especially for little ones. Lots of beach toys and kayaks, canoe and pedsl boats. Great stay

We loved our stay at this home. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen and bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed eating on the deck for almost every meal and watching the lake. The kids loved playing in the water and we all enjoyed the canoes, kayaks, and paddleboard. Sitting by the lake in the shade while the kids played was delightful. Great week!

This is the second year we have stayed at this rental. It has everything you need, it's so nice not to have to bring anything for the rental. Jean has thought of everything and made sure the house has whatever you could need to stay for a week! The pillows and mattresses are really nice which made sleeping there for the week like being at home.

We rented the house for a family reunion following my mother’s memorial. A lovely week relaxing at the lake and reminiscing with relatives who live in the area! The house was ready earlier than expected on the day of arrival, a gesture which was greatly appreciated! We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay from evening #1. Thank you for all you did to make our week so special!

We had a wonderful week at Sapphire Lake. The cottage was very nice. Jean is very nice and quick to respond. The only minor issue we had was that there wasn't enough room at the table in the dining room for the 9 of us to eat together. There is a nice patio set on the deck right outside the dining area that seats 4 so everyone has a spot to eat.

Once again we had a wonderful time on Sapphire Lake. The sandy beach was wonderful for the kids and the kayaks, paddle boats and stand-up paddle boards were enjoyed by all. Looking forward to next year.

We loved our stay at this cottage. The host provided all the supplies we needed and more. The owner’s attention to detail was evident. The house was very clean and it felt like home. We had a lot of fun at the beach and enjoyed all the beach equipment that was provided. All the cooking and dining equipment was provided and much appreciated, as we love to cook. We also enjoyed the two fire pits and the sunsets are amazing. We will come back.

My 4 kids(ranging from 7-15) loved it here. It was so nice to have kayaks, paddle boards and anything else that ensures a great beach lake day. It was great not having to worry about towels or any extra items to pack. The house was very clean and had great space to gather. We also enjoyed the basket the host provided!

This was a great place to stay, our family enjoyed time together and the many water activities. Close enough to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island for day trips. Jean was a great host. Thank you for the welcome basket filled with goodies and bottles of wine. Enjoyed the great view from the deck, coffee in the morning, wine at night. I have a sign at home that says this is how this Grandma tells time.

We planned this family trip in place of exchanging Christmas presents this year. The idea was to spend more time together. This place was perfect! It was large enough for everyone to hang out in numerous areas. Both fire pits were used, and all the boats. The kids went frog hunting and built many sand castles on the beach, which is huge! We had a GREAT time! Jean provides everything that you could possibly need! We kayaked, swam, had bonfires on the beach. Went hiking, visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, saw a movie in Cadillac. Went tubing down the Platte River. We also visited Tasty Treat in downtown Lake City for ice cream several times! Lovely home to relax in and enjoy time away. Thanks Jean! We will be back!

Our family had a fantastic, fun vacation at your lake house. The grandkids (11, 8 & 6) loved the sand beach and the shallow sand bottom of Lake Sapphire. We all enjoyed using the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe. Having the firewood supplied made it easy to also enjoy both firepits. The shed had plenty of beach toys for the kids to play with. It was nice for the older adults (us) to have folding chairs to sit on rather than just Adirondack chairs. Your home was very nicely decorated, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and pantry had everything you could possibly need. All of your special touches, greeting note and welcome basket were much appreciated! As a host Jean, you are at the top of the list of the VRBO properties where we've stayed!

"Our family had absolutely wonderful time!! We loved all that you provided...from the welcoming basket to the kayaks, paddle board, paddle boats and beach towels AND providing the items for smores around the beachfront fire pit. The kids loved the sandy beach and walk into the water. Our grandson finally caught a fish and was beside himself! Games to play, tvs to watch and plenty of places to relax and read. If you love being out on the water, this place is perfect! The owner offers numerous kayaks, canoes, peddle boats, floating, and life jackets. There are two firepits, one by tge water and one by the house. The home is impeccably clean and stocked with even more than you need. The owner definitely knows what's she's doing. We were ages 10 to 60 and we all had a fantastic time. We will definitely be back!

The house was wonderful and very clean. Everything we needed plus more was supplied. The beach, (my favorite) was perfect for swimming and sunning. Enjoyed the paddle boat for some exercise. My dog LOVED the lake. No stray dogs coming at her which she and I enjoyed. I liked the fire pit by the house. Not sure if we older folks could have made it down to the pit on the lake. No lights leading the trail plus a step or two loose that could use to be fixed but again, maybe wouldn't have been a bother to those alittle more stable on their feet. Thank you for letting us stay and sharing with us your beautiful place on the lake.

I rented the property for my kids, grandkids and I to unwind and have fun. This property and Jean's attention to detail exceeded all of my expectations. From cleanliness, comfort and appointments (both inside and out) there was nothing that we wanted for. Jean has thought about and supplied everything - it was just liking walking into a family or friends cottage. Beds were super comfortable. She supplied all the paper products, s'mores, firewood, bug spray, foils/wraps, coffee, laundry and personal soap - she even had ketchup and mustard! The set-up is wonderful with the 2 firepits and deck, as well as the inside lay-out. The waterfront was shallow and had a great sandy bottom for the little ones to play and splash in. The beach and water toys were great! I can't say enough about how much we loved the place. We made a lot of great memories. We are definitely looking to return!! If you're thinking about booking this place - do it!

Accommodations were great and owner was wonderful at answering any questions we had. They even offered early check in if we needed it. We went during NYE and the guys tried their best at ice fishing. Only caught a few little ones in front of the house but we were told the ice wasn’t even formed earlier in the week. The guys did manage to limit out on another little lake nearby. Bedrooms were great size. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms with more than enough towels. Welcoming gift of wine and chocolate was adorable and thoughtful. Owner asked for suggestions to make the stay better and the only suggestion I had was another tv. She was very receptive and thankful for the suggestions. I would love to see this property in the summer. Oh…and neighbors were awesome. They were fishing on the lake too and offered advice. Their kids were even making an ice skating rink on the lake

My family and I had a fantastic time at your lovely home. Home was clean, well appointed and the beds were super comfortable. The best part is the large beach with kayaks, a paddle board and a dock for our rental pontoon boat. Thank you for the lovely gift for my mom for her birthday, that was such a beautiful surprise. We enjoyed our stay at this cottage on Sapphire Lake. Cottage was clean and well stocked with everything needed to support our stay. Wonderful view of lake and sunsets from the deck. Water was great and we enjoyed the nice variety of kayaks, paddleboard, etc. that were provided. Loved listening to the loons on the lake. Very comfortable and great place to spend time as a family.
