"The private beach was great, lake was clear and shallow which was great for our group of young kids. Host responsiveness was quick and helpful. We had an issue with the pellet grill and the oven and the host filling in was quick to alleviate that with dropping off a new gas grill. House cleanliness needed a little improvement- which was communicated to the host. We cleaned a lot upon arrivalThe house updates are very cute! Large deck was awesome and the view from the house was great. Some cons- there is no storage space for a larger group of guests bringing in food, snacks, etc..lots of closets and the garage were locked, so assuming one of those was a pantry that could have been utilized as storage. A lot of the doors(especially bathroom doors) weren’t shimmed in correctly, so they wouldn’t even shut all the way, or were so hard to close and open that middle of the night bathroom users woke others in the house. No scissors to be found in the house. Bed pillows were so so thick and the pillows in the bunk room weren’t in sheets- just in the decorative shams. Thermostat was very inaccurate, but thankfully the house stayed ice cold in the heat and humidity. Only half the toaster worked. And the fly situation- never seen anything like it. Tons of large and small flies all over, which appears that hosts are trying to help that by having fly traps out. The water in the house smelled bad, so our guess was the flies were drain flies. Hosts were very friendly through messages."

"Had a great stay at this property, plenty of room for a family gathering, especially outside with a large deck and chairs, extra chairs plus 2 picnic tables. And if you need gas or last minute food items, there is the Corner Store just steps away with most items you would need. Several places to eat within walking distance. Very pleased with this property!"

"Great space for 3 generation family gathering. Plenty of room and nice additional amenities. The lily pad, paddle boards, kayaks, outdoor chairs, sandy beach spot, and beautiful yard were appreciated. Surprisingly quiet lake! Could have better balance of adult beds to kids beds for our family. Checkout list is more extensive than usual for a property at this price level. Would stay again."

"Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this sweet cabin. What a special place. It's the kind of place that feels like visiting family, very comfortable and cozy. We love it's rustic charm. Wonderful hospitality and communication from host. Terrific location; tucked away in the woods, but still so close to town for anything you need. Being right on the water is spectacular. Perfect shallow water for swimming with the kids. If you want a quaint getaway on the lake, this is a great spot."

"Great place for families. The home is clean and well cared for and it was clear there was a lot of thought into providing for their guests. Beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the sunroom and outdoor space. The sandy beach was great for our grandchildren. They enjoyed using the provided sand toys and the toys and books inside the home. The host provided an empty kitchen cupboard and drawer which was great for storing our food. The extra refrigerator was nice. We would definitely stay here again."
