Peaceful retreat

I don't have anything negative to say about the home, as it was a very nice stay for me and my family. The only ONE negative is the following... There are SEVEN remotes to various electronics in the living room, and NONE of them were labeled! It took us hours to figure out what remote went to "what" electronic. We couldn't figure out how to get a regular, local TV channel or, how to enjoy the surround sound. It would be nice to label each remote and maybe include instructions on how to work (e.g. TV, surround sound, dvd etc.). My husband figure it out (eventually), but what a task. LOL :-) Definitely not a deal breaker. The house is gorgeous! My issue is with management not being proactive by doing a complete walk-through before guests arrive. We were not notified until the day we checked in that the dishwasher and one of the "amenities" in the game room was inoperable. I have a bad wrist, so it was hard for me to wash dishes all weekend. Also, the lights over the grill outside were all out which made it difficult to see at night while grilling. We had to use the flashlight on our cell phones. Management asks that you send them a review after check-out, but when you do...You never hear from them again/response (visit is over, so I suppose you no longer deserve the respect or priority of a response). I personally believe you should keep the "relationship" going even AFTER you leave. A complete follow through to the end, makes you want to continue using the management company for future visits! You will really enjoy this house. My family had the best time in the game room! You will not regret your stay!

The home is beautiful, but there are some serious dangers due to neglect here.

I enjoyed many aspects of the house as you would expect in a house that costs this much. Here is what I did not like: 1) Ants in the kitchen every day. 2) Good luck trying to eat outside. As soon as you go outside in the back/BBQ area you are gonna get hit up by yellow jackets and they just keep coming. 3) Outdoor trash cans were almost full when we got there and were not emptied in the five days we stayed except when the animals came and ripped into them. This then leads to lots and lots of flies. 4) When I rented the house, the pictures clearly showed a sauna which is located within the room at the end of the master bathroom. When we got there it was locked so that was not accessible which I consider to be false advertising. 5) The retro video game system they have which everyone wanted to play does not work because the primary button that you need to play is not operational. I called Vacasa, and they indicated that someone could come fix it. Unfortunately, the maintenance man was off the during the majority of our stay so that did not work. 5) Lets hope the hand railing does not break for you if you walk down to the golf course as it did for me. Good luck with the fall if that happens. 6) Multiple pieces of furniture are unsafe. The barstool my daughter was sitting in came undone due to a lack of bolts connecting the top and bottom portions and she fell off of it and landed on her back, head, and neck. There was also at least one other chair that in the game portion area of the living room that will get someone seriously hurt at some point. 7) Watch out for the transition from the staircase area to the the living room. I watched my 80 year old father misstep on this and fall on his knee (which swelled up to the size of a melon within 10 minutes), his arm, and crack his lower jaw right into a chair that also helped break his fall. I am sill amazed that he did not break his jaw in that fall. Like many things in life, this is a beautiful place, but it has a lot of hidden dangers.

Nearly perfect house!!!!

We loved the space! It fit multiple families with ease. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was also well heated. One drawback was the skylight above the bed in the master bedrooom, didn't allow us to sleep in AT ALL . Also be aware that the driveway is VERY steep and would be a major issue if snow or ice was present. Luckily for us it was dry during our stay. Beautiful space, location and clean. We definitely enjoyed the game room and flexibility of the house.

Arrowhead Dream Getaway

This was the second time we have used Vacas for our vacation rental due to the ease and professionalism of their company. The app is so user friendly, the communication is quick, and their properties never disappoint. This home was so beautiful, cozy, & fun for the entire family. We didn't want to leave. It was super clean, fully stocked, and the amenities were amazing. The outdoor patios & decks were awesome with a beautiful view of the golf course. The kitchen had every amenity you could ever want. Everyone had their own room & the two game rooms were great for the entire family. We honestly want to come back to this property during winter break to go skiing/snow boarding.

Amazing home!

This place is centrally located but tucked away so you have your privacy. It’s large space is well designed so everyone can be together or be off doing their own thing. The game room is such a bonus and kept us entertained all weekend. We will be back!

Need to fix the hot water issue.

Would’ve left a 5 star review, but the ONLY hot water running in the house was the one in the master bedroom. All 10 guest had 1 shower to work with. Had a blast staying there nonetheless 👌👌👌
