"Hotel was excellent, clean, looks like quite recently done up. Staff all very friendly and helpful. No lifts, but staff offered to carry luggage to room. Food in restaurant was delicious and very reasonable. It was actually cheaper eating in Hotel than other places round about. Still high season at end of September. Was a bit dissapointed in breakfast cereal choice, as all i could find was cereal boxes. Last morning after breakfast, I found granola in a high up, top wooden bowl, with dried fruit, next to fruit juices! I'm too short to see into the top bowl! Good choice cooked breakfast. "

"Stayed for one night as it was close to Ben Hope. The room was old fashioned, but in a good way . Loved the tartan accessories and the big deep bath was an unexpected nice surprise . I would stay there again if I was going back to that part of the country"
