"We chose the Bridge Hotel as a stopover on our way to the ferry at Scrabster. The hotel is in a lovely period building just opposite the old bridge/river. We were greeted by a roaring real fire in the characterful entrance/lounge. It has a grand feel with lots of interesting cabinets /curios and prints on the walls. Our 2nd floor room was spacious with good views to the hillside. The was plenty of choice in the breakfast room next morning. A perfect stopover..."

"We had a great 3 weeks … stunning views and a great cottage … wished we could’ve stayed longer… a very well equipped kitchen with an abundance of crockery to use … the fires were amazing on a cold evening… and the sky TV was a great addition too …The only negative comment was the lack of storage in the bathrooms … maybe a couple of shelves on the walls to store toiletries would benefit the cottage"

"Fisherman's Rest was exactly what we were hoping for. We needed somewhere to stay in Helmsdale while we waited to get the keys to our new property, and needed it to have internet speed fast enough that my husband (a programmer) could work. This comfortable cottage had everything we needed! The kitchen was well-equipped, and meant we didn't have to eat out 3 meals a day. (Which gets old, really quickly for me.) The bed was comfortable, as is the furniture in the living room. "

"Review for Seaview Cabins, Dunbeath We stayed at the charming Seaview Cabins, perched on the hillside overlooking the stunning Dunbeath coastline, and absolutely loved it. The cabin was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need – all within a compact and cosy space. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. Ordering dinner was as simple as sending a text to the on-site restaurant, and before long, delicious hot pizzas, refreshing drinks, and pancakes for dessert were delivered straight to our door. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. Our host, Michelle, was warm and welcoming, adding to the overall sense of comfort. The bed was soft and inviting, and the bathroom felt surprisingly spacious for the cabin’s size. We highly recommend spending a night (or more!) here – a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and coastal beauty."
