"Loved the 6th floor ocean view at Lahaina Shores. All we needed was the fridge & microwave. Because there was no kitchen taking up space in the unit, it was much roomier than other units. AC worked great, parking was right out in front. Gorgeous lobby and helpful, knowledgeable & attentive staff."

"Great. Just hate the separation of adult and family pool areas. It is very discriminatory. We all pay same price and some adults can access full facilities and others only half and this because they are parents! If you have kids you will not be able to sit in a hot tub ever during your stay! You should consider setting kids open times and quiet rules but not ban kids completely !"

"We went to the Honua Kai with our 3-year-old daughter as a recommendation from a friend who had gone earlier in the year with their one-year-old. We went for the ability to have washer-dryer, kitchenette, pools that were family-friendly, and an on-site store and restaurant. It lived up to our requirements with regards to everything. I also used the gym which was adequate for what I used it for (primarily treadmill running - when I didn't run on the beach, that is). Would recommend!"

They were kind, attentive and worked around the clock for guests, although their beautiful town was destroyed before our eyes.
