"This was my 2nd visit to the island and our experience at Kaanapali Alii was so great, we couldn't wait to return. Checkin was easy, our condo was very clean and housekeeping was wonderful. We didn't encounter any unfriendly staff. I was grateful the concierge was the same and she was just as wonderful helping us book excursions as our first visit. "While being evacuated from my home in Kula, Hotel rented my family a room in this hotel that was also being of Maui forcible evacuated by the police due to a natural disaster then informed me there are no refunds! It’s unclear if this hotel burned to the ground. Being forced to pay for a room in a disaster area that cannot be used or accessed feels like a corrupt business practice, or sort of like stealing. "
