"Great, quiet hotel just a couple of blocks from the French Quarter. Want to be close to the action, but still have a bit of peace and quiet, The Blake is a good choice. Rooms are small but comfortable. Have the basics (fridge, coffee etc.!) Decent wifi for free. Best of all, it is very convenient by public transit to the airport. The 202 Express drops drops you at the corner. $1.25 and half an hour to get to hotel from the airport. Also, the hotel is on the St. Charles streetcar line to get to the Arts District. Definitely a better option than the super noisy, super expensive place in the French Quarter where I started my trip."
