"The view tops the reason to stay at this lakeside location. The host was very gracious and responded quickly to calls. The cabin was very clean inside, however, lacked updated amenities. They say they are in the process of renovating the property but progress is fragmented. Great for a quiet getaway with an exceptional view."

"Wi-fi/tv service were not great or maybe we just didn’t know how to operate it affectively. we kept losing service or it would turn off. The walk to the lake was grown up. We were not here for the lake we were here for a high school state golf tournament and quiet nights in with plenty of room to relax. We would stay at this property again."

"This was 4 years in a row renting the cabin and have enjoyed all 4 years very much. The cabin is awesome and sits back in a cove with very little boat traffic, great dock, fire pit and the cabin is equipped with everything you need. "The house was super clean! We had room for everyone to have a bed! It was a perfect gathering place for our family and a few pets! We had all our meals at the house. Kitchen was well equipped! One suggestion if you plan to cook. Bring your own knifes for preparation of food! If we ever gather as a total family again, we would rent this place again. The host was great to respond! I was contacted 4 days prior to our arrival that the cabin reserved only had one bed and a sleeper sofa. I responded that would not work for us! "We loved our weekend at this cabin. It is the ideal family vacation spot. The kids loved the water slide, diving board, lily pad, canoes, swimming over to the island, grilling and making s’mores. Very friendly owners and super cute tiny neighbors dog that comes for visits. The loft bedroom was great as well for the kids! Smith fire tower only 5 minutes away for hiking. We hope to come back."

"Arrived to a cold house at 50 degrees. Did warm up with turning on furnace after about 45 minutes. No dish towels- they would have been nice. Had to use bath towels in the kitchen. No wifi and poor cell service. We actually like this property and have stayed here previously. Suspect that the details a little lax because off season for a lake house."

"This is a perfect spot for a lake getaway. We came into town for an Auburn game in the fall and really enjoyed the lot, the hot tub, the swings, ropes, fire pit, and golf cart. There are plenty of kitchen extras (dishes, spices, pans, k-cup brewer etc). Lots of blankets and pillows. Easy access off of SR 280 and about 35 minutes to downtown Auburn. My only criticism is that it could use a deep cleaning. One shower drain didn't drain, trash under the bunk beds and paint could use a fresh coat. I...

"We had a great time at the cabin on Lake Tallapoosa. The cabin was cozy with all the amenities we needed. The house was perfectly setup for dogs. They were able to roam from the fenced yard up the ramp and into the porch area. This was a big deal for us which allowed us to relax while they had more freedom. We saw blue heron, otters, turtles on the river and took a trip to the local dam. The train was unexpected, but it made our days (and nights) interesting. Thanks!"
