"A beautiful, older resort in the low season which could use some refurbishing and additional wait-staff. It's quiet, out of the way and was once gorgeous. Now it needs a coat of varnish. The hot water in the shower works very well, if you can figure out how to manipulate the faucet. The main restaurant needs more servers, so things like silverware aren't forgotten when the food is brought out.The bottom line: it's quiet, and like stepping into a few hundred years ago. I would consider going...

Hotellet ligger på ett enskilt och lugnt läge men en kort taxiresa bort fanns mysiga barer och restauranger för den som önskar detta. Enda nackdelen med stället var att det fanns en del sandflugor nere vid stranden. "

"Was an ok hotel stay. Was really just a pit stop as travelling to Koh Kood and boat times didn’t fit so had to stay a night in Trat. Hotel did exactly what was needed. Clean with no frills. Nothing around the surrounding area, breakfast was basic but as I said, did a job. Nice enough and very clean. If I had to, I would stay here again."

"resort is beautiful, slightly out of the way. Secluded just past lonely beach. Walkway access to a mostly rock and mud beach leading to a small spit of white sand at low tide. Gorgeous pool for those less intrepid. Breakfast is made to order, lunch ～ dinner restaurant until 9:30pm. Decent little enclave just above hotel. Motorbike for the daring as dark and hilly roads to the main tourist areas or a TH150 PP ride each way. Very enjoyable R/R over Song Klang. "

"Had a great stay here for a week in one of the deluxe bungalows, lovely beach, resort itself could do with a spruce up but it didn’t affect our stay. Bungalow was excellent. Breakfast was decent with lots of choice. Could do with a few more chairs and loungers around the pool and beachfront. Would stay again."

This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. The beach allows you to walk out 1/2 kilometre and still be chest deep and the water is warm. "Vi havde et fantastisk ophold hos Ban Mae Resort. Vores bungalow var stor med både soveværelse, bagagerum, badeværelse og terrasse. Stedet ligger langt fra touristresorterne på øens vestside, men servicen var i top! Der er fantastisk natur, dyreliv og en lille kiosk ved vejen. Vi kunne leje kanoer og padle til fine sandstrande, vi stort set havde for os selv. Maden var god. Wifi fungerede godt, vi havde brug for Google oversæt, da engelsk ikke bruges så ofte med få klassiske tourister. Et...
