We had an amazing family vacation at Himmlischer Chateau! The location is perfect for skiing, and even for those of us learning, it was so convenient to hit the slopes. The house itself is stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked, which made cooking for the whole family easy and enjoyable. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the linens feel luxurious, which made waking up each morning a treat. Every little detail, from the cozy living areas to the thoughtful touches around the house, made our stay feel special. It was such a relaxing and memorable getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for 5 nights for a multi-generational family trip. Our group was 13 people ranging in ages from 3-89. The house was exactly as pictured. Both the host and the maintenance professional, Adam, were extremely communicative and went above and beyond to make our group’s stay smooth and enjoyable. The endless amenities in the home and the community are definitely worth the costs. We loved the theater-like movie experiences and the beautiful views from the patio. The master suites are tastefully designed, and my kiddos loved the Romeo and Juliet balcony directly off the first master bedroom. The community itself was clean and well-kept. Be sure to check out the stables (it’s included in your 10 fee) and the lake beach (also included). Overall, this was a great stay at a beautiful home.

Had a great time at this rental. It was exactly what we needed for a nice long weekend in the summer. We used the amenities provoded by the community they were in and the kids had a blast. Everyone on the trip was extremely happy with the properry, the professionalism and the ease of renting through them. Great all around. Will definitely be looking to stay at this rental again as well as other properties managed by them.

Special place

I travel with my family every year, we try to find special places to gather and this definitely makes it for us. The living room and game room are ideal for watching movies or playing, which means a lot if you travel with children. I think we found a special one here.

More than expected

The house has way more bells and whistles than I though. The family had a great time and kids loved the theater.

Amazing

My family and I had THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIME in this home. Between the cooking and relaxing in the hot, to also playing games and movie night. This house was hands down breathtaking. Thank you from the Capomolla family

Let me start by saying that my entire family enjoyed the house and we plan on inquiring again next year to rent this house for our annual winter escape. The house was everything that I excepted, the bedroom layout was perfect for my children and grandchildren. In spite of the -21 wind chill temp the house was very comfortable, and the fireplaces were a bonus. The large projection TV was a hit especially watching the Super Bowl on it. The dining and kitchen layout worked great for us to all eat together. This is by far the best house that I have ever returned, and I rent homes 2X per year. Thank you for letting us enjoy this house.

Beautiful House in a Beautiful Location

We booked the chateau for my parter's 50th birthday and spent the weekend with a group of friends. The property rep was very responsive and made the rental process easy. The property itself was beautiful and everyone was impressed by the space, the location, and the thoughtfulness of how everything was laid out. We will definitely be renting this space in the future for more group getaways!

Beautiful upstairs living area

The rooms upstairs were beautiful, as was the living room and dining area. We didn’t get to enjoy the house to the fullest. My group had another house, where most of our time was spent.

We had a great time!

We had a group stay here for a team retreat and it was so much fun! We had great weather and loved riding around in the golf cart. It did run out of gas after only one ride, but Nancy was so great to work with and we had gas delivered to us that same day! The house itself was spacious - I will say there was just enough bowls and silverware for us since we were a large group so if the items were in the dishwasher we had to wait. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend!

Incredible house!

This place is great for a girls getaway. We had a blast sitting on the porch, enjoying the hot tub and enjoying wine with old friends! The house has multiple master bedrooms so we all had a nice space to unplug and relax. The house was clean and well stocked. We loved the mountain store that had groceries, a great deli and made to order sandwiches for pick up. The teppanyaki griddle is really unique and it was fun to sit around the griddle and cook while we talked. I’d like to bring my family back next time to enjoy with my kids!

My husband and I stayed at this property with 3 other couples the first week of Nov08. I was thrilled to find that the house was immaculately clean. The bedrooms were more spacious than the pictures portrayed. We were so comfortable in the house with all of its amenities that we ventured out only once. The community is very quiet. The house is very relaxing and definitely family-friendly - I hope to book again soon!

Well, there was really no counter space, a big hibachi grill in the middle of the kitchen that we were not allowed to use, as well as a wonderful wood burning fireplace that was also off limits. Sliding doors we were not allowed to open. There were a lot of restrictions for this house. More than I have encountered in any other rental.

Family Fun & Relaxation

The property is everything it says it is… and more! The house is beautiful and well laid out to give us both a place to gather together (9 of us) and spaces to spend time alone/as couples, if needed. The check in process and communication of the homeowners was easy and accurate. It is in a community setting that requires day passes for the amenities nearby and in my option are well worth it! You can walk to the main lodge area through the back yard (in the summer). The pool and the pond (more like a lake) with a beach were both close day trips that made everyone happy. We made almost all our meals in the amazing kitchen but there are restaurants nearby if that’s more your style. Highly recommend!
