"Living away from the area, we wanted a property that would allow us to bring our whole family together over Christmas, including 12 on Christmas day. Croxton House was the perfect location. Spacious but not overwhelming, a dining room big enough for what we needed, a location. That was rural but not too far from local amenities. "We stayed here from or the second year running and will stay again. Lovely food for breakfast and Dinner. Lovely atmosphere and great surroundings. Room excellent with great view of the golf course"

"On arrival externally it is rather bleak but i found that the breakfast area and my room were sufficient for my needs, corridors etc somewhat dated and a lift that loves to open its doors several times when i would rather they shut. Staff were very nice and accommodating and the food decent. Although it seems a poached egg was out of the remit for one chef who murdered them twice. Offers to exchange were turned down as i don’t like waste but would prefer it done correctly first time. For working trip more than adequate."
