"The pool was lovely .
There are several restaurants within easy walking distance.
Disliked the number of rules at the property -for instance you cannot have your own food and drinks on terrace/ in room yet they sell no food and only a minimal drink selection.
The shower needs to be hooked up as holding it in your hand to shower in 2022 really isnât acceptable .
Rooms need updating . "

"People at the reception were rude. Everything is closed from noon to 3pm. So all indoor activities are closed even if the weather is bad. Children are not allowed to the indoor pool except very early in the morning or one hour before closing. We came to have swimming activities with our child when the weather is bad.... Fail.
Also the mini golf was not "open" anymore. The only thing they would have to do is clean it. The playground and the gym were also very run down. "

"Fabulous accommodation; very close to Lacanau Lake with plenty of water sports activities available. Only short drive from Lacanau OcĂŠan Resort. We loved our stay here. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was lovely for cooling off and the bakery pre-order service was a nice touch. Moat of all, the warm welcome and friendly staff made our visit. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend Les Vacancioles."
"This is a beautiful well kept property with extraordinary hospitality extended by the Proprietor Alain and his wife and son and staff. They offer a very traditional French experience, from the accommodation to the aperitif to the petit dejeuner. It was magnificent and we cannot wait to visit again. We wouldn't change a thing about this hotel or this visit! "

"The fact that it took us 2 hours to find the apartment not to say a dozen text messages and then a further hour to finally gain access . The photos bore no resemblance to what we were faced with. Bunk beds with mattresses covered in animal hair, a worn futon and generally a very shabby apartment. Food left in the freezer. There was absolutely no way on earth we were going to stay let alone sleep there. We locked the door and left."

"We went with my son age 9 and he loved the pools. It was very handy for the beautiful beach and Atlantic Sea. It was also very convenient for the Carrefour Contact supermarket and all the bars, shops and restaurants
in town. We had a studio for x4 people ( we were a group of 3) and it was perfectly adequate. Very clen and a nice balcony. It was a bit small, but much bigger than where we had briefly stayed before going there. But we booked very much at the last minute and we liked it. We would like to come again and book a larger apartment. There is no air con, but we had two plug in fans that we had bought with us, so those and the balcony door being left open when we were there , was fine.
