Property was run down. Stains on blankets, dead roaches, thin towels, low water pressure. No continental breakfast. Was not happy, unfortunately it is 1 of the only 2 hotels in the town. Staff was friendly.

It’s not a 5 star hotel by any means but I didn’t pay for one either. It was clean quiet and uneventful. The owner is a super friendly guy and I enjoyed chatting with him for a minute. Water was hot, didn’t run out as in some places and the pressure was good. A/C worked great and was quiet. No complaints and I would stay again.

Pleasantly surprised!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. It didn’t smell weird. Not a lot of frills but the outside is cute. I liked that it was near a Walmart and Waffel House. Even though it was near a few stores it was still pretty quiet and felt safe.

After staying at “cheap” motels most of my childhood, I know how much of a chance it is to book a motel. We were pleasantly impressed at the Key West. While there were small issues such as sagging mattress on 1 side (easily remedied with 2 pillows), gap under the door ((rolled towel), the room was clean with no bad odors, shower was hot and had great pressure, very quiet and provided 2 nights of comfortable sleep. We asked for a 1st floor room when we arrived and were gladly provided a handicapped room. Manager was extremely nice.

Awesome customer service

The man working the front desk was amazingly helpful, curteous and had a great sense of humor. Anything i asked for, such as a coffee pot and iron, he brought to us immediately. He was funny and polite. Room was clean and comfortable

Still had lobby shut for Covid! We had to check in through a"night window." No swimming pool, no continental breakfast, absolute bare minimum of towels (2), no maintenance, most light bulbs burned out, room has been smoked in.

I didn't have time to read the reviews, so I was expecting a decent array of breakfast items based on the website photos. However, they no longer offer breakfast even though these pictures still show the breakfast area and selections, which represents false advertising. When I called to verify our reservations and let them know we were brining a dog, "Bob" should have mention this, but he didn't. Upon our arrival and seeing my disappointment about breakfast, he did loan us a small coffee pot with coffee and filters, which was much appreciated by my wife. The washer and dryer worked well and were reasonable at $2.00 each. The motel is cute and our room was clean. The king bed was nice and firm, the AC worked well and there was plenty of hot water. The lawn in front was lush and clean, so your dogs will be happy. I let my dog run loose in the big field to the north of the motel to get some exercise. I would consider staying here again. If you have time, be sure to visit Cloudland Canyon State Park off Hwy. 136 on the way to Trenton, GA near the Alabama and Tennessee borders. At about 3,000' elevation, it should be nice there even during the summer.
