"Clean, air conditioned room, comfortable bed, good shower. Only one bedside table, no drawers or hanging space. The bar and restaurant had been very nicely refurbished. We sat outside for evening meal, garden bit overgrown and meal felt rushed but food was good. Breakfast was basic, just croissant, coffee, juice and bread. Good location for exploring the area."

"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"We spent 3 nights in Loire Valley in Manoir Des Basses Rivieres, in suite Boisdenier. Our hosts welcomed us very warmly and listened yo all possible requests if there was any. The suite was top notch, very clean, nice and welcoming. The area itself was very nice with the garden and exclusive setup as there are only 3 rooms. Breakfast was all that was needed, we could've ordered specialties if needed. Fridge and available wine, beers etc if needed. All in all great experience and will not...

"The hostess/owner is fabulous! She went above and beyond to help make our stay in the Loire Valley run smoothly. She even drove us to and from the car rental agency! Breakfast is delightful, including home made jams, and the location is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to stroll around the property. "We stopped for one night on our way back to the UK. Langeais is a very pretty small town on the Loire with a beautiful Chateau in the centre. La Fleur de Lys is a small hotel right in the centre. Our room was good sized, well equipped and very clean. It also had the facility to make hot drinks in the room - which is not always the case in France. "We spent a very pleasant evening at Chateau de Pintray. The owner, Anne, is delightful and kindly booked dinner for us in an excellent restaurant nearby.
