Largest Cabin Available for Rent in Cucahra! 26+

The Lodge is the largest cabin available for rent in Cuchara. It can accommodate 26+ people! A minimum of 4-night stay during holidays. This cabin is great for large family's. It is located just up the drive from the Cuchara Mountain Park and Cuchara Mercantile (a great wedding venue). You can enjoy many outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, disc golf, La Veta Golf Course and much more. The views are unlike any other showing off the Spanish Peaks and the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. Inside The Lodge you will find abundant space for everyone. There are three levels to this Lodge. On the upper level you will find two bedrooms with King beds and their own bathrooms and private balcony's. Upstairs also has a loft/sunroom to take in the best views. On the main level of the Lodge you will find a half bathroom, the dining room with two dining tables, the kitchen, living room with a TV and fireplace, two king sized bedrooms that have their own bathrooms and own private balcony's. There is also a large deck off of the living room. On the main level is also the laundry room, another bedroom with a queen bed and two double beds and its own bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. In the basement you will find the game room with a pool table, arcade game, wet bar, poker table, foosball table, as well as a theater room! There is also a large deck coming off of the game room. In the basement there is a large room that is dedicated to the kids! It has two queen beds as well as three double bunk beds and a sofa couch. There is a full bathroom in the basement off of the game room. Down the hall in the basement is another full bathroom as well as two other king size bedrooms one of which has its own full bathroom as well. This place really has it all and we know you will have an amazing time!

Host was responsive. Amenities were great. Out of all the cabins we've stayed, this cabin was the best supplied. We really didn't need to bring much but the food. Extremely spacious and ample beds. Worst thing is that we live to far from this beautiful cabin. The drive is long. My family really enjoyed they're stay and have talked about coming back next year.

65th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

We were in awe of the beautiful location and the cabin itself was absolutely amazing! Lovely views from the windows and decks and plenty of room for a large group to spread out. The highlights for our family group were the game room and bunk room, the decks and the gorgeous upstairs sitting area with the large window! The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable! We loved the decor, so homey and rustic. We enjoyed fishing, walking to the old ski area and playing miniature golf. It was far more amazing than we could have imagined. We absolutely loved our stay!

Family Gathering after Wedding

Our family stayed at this house after my son’s wedding at the nearby Mercantile. The house was perfect! It was larger enough for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. We can’t wait to come back for another family get together.

There was 25 of us for a 3 generation family reunion. Lots of space. Never felt crowded. Plenty of beds for sleeping. Plenty of restrooms. Minor challenge with fluctuating hot water. Overall, highly recommended.

Excellent Stay

Extremely nice facility! Plenty of room for a large group. Well stocked with all the supplies needed. It was very icy weather when we arrived in January ( of course - it's Colorado), therefore being located at a high altitude we had a little trouble getting up the road leading to the cabin. But the neighbors were excellent to help us. Really good neighborhood, very friendly and willing to help us in any way. Neighbors even loaned us snow sleighs to use. Owners were very nice, and good to work with us in every way. Thanks so much, Katrina, for a beautiful place to spend our family Christmas!! Lots of great memories made, with absolutely Gorgeous scenery. Would love to come back and stay again some time. I highly recommend this place, if you have a large group!!

Great place for a large family gathering

Host was super attentive and house comes ready to enjoy your stay, bathrooms are stocked and good quality towels provided, bedding is perfect for a good night rest. House was very large with lots of bedrooms with their own bathroom attached, also great for the kids was the large bunk bed room where all the kids can sleep (all bunks are doubles), great playroom with pool and game table and a nice separate movie room with big screen tv. We truly enjoyed our stay and and appreciate the great care the host takes to make things easy and enjoyable from the moment you step through the door.

Amazing Place to Stag

We used this as a friend reunion and we couldn’t have been happier with the lodge! It has so much room and was well outfitted with anything we could need. It was so clean when we arrived it made everyone feel very comfortable and welcome. The views are amazing and each room is so gorgeous. We can’t reccomend it enough!

Our family has been vacationing in this part of Colorado for almost 40 years since our kids were young and now they are grown and married and now our grandchildren are joining us! This property is beautiful and the views are amazing and so are the amenities!

Short family getaway close to home

This beautiful home delivered every it promised and more. We have a large family (18 of us) and often use VRBOs for our vacations. This property is, by far, the most accurately depicted home we have stayed in. There was more than enough room for all of us to be together in the common areas while still affording everyone room to retreat to our own rooms with en-suite. The littles all absolutely loved the downstairs game/bunk room! The kitchen was the best stocked of any that we have stayed in, making cooking for this crew a breeze. The owners were even kind enough to allow us access to their cleaning tools and supplies. That may not sound like a big deal but with 6 kids under 6, it was much appreciated. Katrena was kind and responsive to whatever random question or concern I threw at her and made the entire process a breeze. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful getaway

Our large group had a blast staying here. It worked giving each separate family their space while allowing for gathering and playing games. Close to fishing and activities for the kids.
