"The inn is in an old historic building, with lots of original character. Fantastic to have parking. Great location, short walk to town. We stayed in the Victory room on the first floor. Very spacious, clean and nice bedding on comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot and good water pressure. Things to know: We had a window AC but no thermostat to control heat (fortunately we had ideal weather). We were next to a restaurant in the building so had to keep curtains closed as people were walking...

"We have been traveling to Maine for the last 22 years. We have rented exclusively on the water every time. Big houses, small houses and everything in between. I’m super picky and have always encountered something that was off with all of them. I can’t say that about our recent stay at Round Pond. This property had everything thoughtfully laid out in a modest living space. It was immaculate, comfortable and our host was very generous with both early check in and late check out. Our 12 year old min pin pup enjoyed herself in and around the property and walks around town."

"We loved our stay, cozy cottage, found all we needed, good for 1-2 people. Location was good, we had short walk/ drive to local supermarket, trails, beach. All places we love in New Harbor were close, so we enjoyed our stay. Bill met us the day we arrive and Susan some other day checked on us- thank you! Easy to follow directions and check in. The book they prepared had all necessary information even if someone is visiting Maine first time. Special treat- comfortable bed- not always we’re lucky with that. Kitchen had all we needed."

"We were very comfortable in Martha’s house! Very clean, well stocked, obviously she likes to bake/cook! Had a little trouble locking up door as it told us it wasn’t locked when it clearly was, no issue w/ check in code. The book collection and Down East magazines were amazing, we brought books and sewing projects…never turned on the TV. Anyone w/ mobility issues should be carful w/ thresholds, few steps and rugs. Thank you for sharing this lovely house, so cozy!"

"We had such a great week at this cozy cottage! The porch was definitely our favorite, the perfect spot to relax, eat, and enjoy the evenings. The cottage really is a short trip to the beautiful Pemaquid Beach. Be aware that the beach closes at 6 PM and the water gets shut off at the same time. so you may end up bringing plenty of sand home with you!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Round Pond. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The decks were such peaceful spots to look out to the water and the occasional lobster boat, listen to the birds and the water lapping on the shore and watch a spectacular sunrise over Loud's Island. The home had everything we needed to be comfortable. Our communication with the local property manager, Faith, was outstanding. There are so many things to do within an hour of the home, some of which include the Pemaquid Lighthouse, Hardy Boat Cruises, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, La Verna Preserve, and exploring all of the charming towns nearby. This was our third visit to the area, and we have discovered more places to explore each time. We highly recommend this home and this area of mid-coast Maine!"
