"Gros problème vis à vis du lit à la mezzanine, un escalier trop court, dernière marche à un bon 1,1m limite il faut sauter pour pourvoir monter ou descendre. Risquer avec des enfants en bas âge , des personnes handicapées ou vieux. Sa ne tiens que mon avis, âpres c’est un hébergement pour un couple "

"Well located property in very quiet area. Gite has potential and is physically as described. However, some attention to detail is lacking to make this a super place to stay. For example - did not appear to have had a thorough clean certainly not a start of season welcome as cobwebs evident and lots of large insects around the house. Internet not working for first 24 hrs - host responded by buying a replacement router which was much better. We gave up trying to tune in the TV for some home news....

"Super interesting place to stay. New bathrooms. Very clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Rooms have very basic amenities - not surprising given the place’s origin, but there isn’t even any soap in the bathrooms - no way to wash your hands except to use the mystery bottle of body wash (?) in the shower. The place isn’t expensive, so basic is fine, but maybe a few more amenities (like some soap, tissue, an extra towel or two) would be nice?"

"Lovely 16C old house in the centre of Saintes bags of character and very friendly, informative hosts. A little rickety due to its age but this just adds to the charm. Bottom line is that we would be happy to visit again."
