"A truly delightful stay in the south of France! Our host and her home provided a warm and authentic experience for both relaxation and pleasure. The nearby quaint Catalan village of Sorede, nestled at the base of the Pyrenees and near the Mediterranean seaside, punctuated the beauty and peacefulness of our stay. Whether it was driving through the vineyards and olive groves on the way to the market or enjoying the warm afternoon sun among the cedars and succulents in the pool garden, this stay was the "Joie de Vivre'!"

"This is a beautiful home with stunning views of the Alberes. A short walk into town where there are a handful of restaurants and a short drive ro the supermarket. Michel and Marianne live close by and were super helpful. The property is immaculately clean, with a great patio area and pool. The only thing to note is two toilets for eight guests - the en suites are shower and sink only. There are extra charges for end of stay clean and towel provision which are not included in the base price. We'd come back again - a great place for a family break or a group of adults. "Incredible mountain views, lovely house, well equipped with a fab pool, we had a great holiday at Casa Vostra. Be prepared for a climb but the views are worth it, we stayed with our three children aged 11, 8 and 4 and they were in heaven in the pool, the balcony was wonderful for evening drinks and the lower area with table/plancha was magical for dinner- the views were breath taking. Air conditioning in bedrooms was a blessing during a very hot spell. The shared pool in the Domaine was fun too for a more active swim and Laroque des Alberes itself was very picturesque with restaurants and cafes, allbeit too far for an evening walk. We ran and cycled from the house and there are fire roads which give variety as long as you're prepared for the inevitable climb! It's a very quiet spot, private and tranquil, we were very aware of our own noise (!) but neighbours were friendly. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, a unique experience for our family."
