"Pros: Nice location, good size place for two families with kids. Has a pool. Cons: Hidden extra costs (bed linens and towels) and very stressful checkout (possibly due to English language). Pool was not heated enough for that time of year (15c) and almost all the door locks don’t work or don’t work well. Fix some of these small things and the place would have been a more pleasant stay."

"This is a lovely house in a quiet location just a short drive from Argelès-sur-Mer. The house is well maintained and was spacious enough for the 5 of us to have plenty of room. The communication from the owner was excellent and even when we had a small issue with the dishwasher they had it fixed within a day. Highly recommended and we would definitely visit again."

"Most of our holiday was spent outside by and in the pool. The house and weather were perfect. The pool was a little cold at first but soon warmed to 28 deg. We enjoyed trips into town, to the beach and to the marina for a birthday dinner. Alas, a bush fire caused damage to a nearby campsite with explosions and black smoke which really frightened the children. Thankfully the many fire engines and aircraft were able to extinguish it within 24 hours. In spite of this we would happily return."

"We have just returned from a 2-week stay at Villa Mierlo with our two teens and were really sad to leave. It's a lovely house in a quiet hillside location with amazing views from every window (you can see the sea, the Pyranees and Spain) and a good sized pool, which we used to the full. The house is beautifully renovated, with plenty of character, all mod cons and very well equipped (lots of kitchen stuff, sun loungers, an outdoor table tennis table and a Wii with all the games). "Superbe propriété en bord de canal. Tout est bien pensé pour passer d’excellentes vacances! Vue exceptionnelle Seul bémol, la proximité avec les autres maisons…en plein été, je pense que ça doit être assez bruyant"

"La maison d'Hélène est très agréable avec son espace extérieur. Tout est très propre et neuf. Le logement est bien équipé (lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, produits de première nécessité...) Très pratique qu'il y ait 2 salles de bain. Très bonne communication, Hélène est à l'écoute et disponible par message. Le seul petit bémol (mais qui n'en sera plus un dans quelques mois) ce sont tous les travaux alentours. Le quartier est récent et tout en construction donc cela amène pas mal de bruits en...

"Het huis was erg goed. 3 slaapkamers beneden, 2 ensuite en 1 grote aparte. Boven grote woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken. Terras buiten is over de hele breedte van het huis met uitzicht op de Middellandse zee. Savonds prachtig uitzicht op Roses. Zwembad was heerlijk, groot met terras."
