Some of the areas around the hotel aren’t the safest areas, but the hotel itself is very secure and you can’t expect perfect safety in such an old city. the staff was really nice. "It was a great stay at Barceló-Sants. The room is comfortable and very centric for travel about in Barcelona and nearby areas. It’s surrounded by many several European style coffee shops and restaurants. There’s a couple of supermarkets with great prices for water and fruit. The room also stays cool when it’s not occupied. The views from the top floor are amazing. "
