"Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "

"We spent a week in this lovely, well appointed villa overlooking the Vèzére River valley. The fall weather that week was a bit too chilly to enjoy pool or sit outdoors but the views remained spectacular. The villa was a great base for venturing out to the nearby prehistoric sites, market towns, and wonderful restaurants and was a cozy home for evenings in enjoying local wine, cheese and charcuterie. Beth and John provided helpful advice and the housekeeper was prompt and accommodating. Thanks! "

"An immaculately clean, well equiped property, set in a beautiful, peaceful location. We felt at home straight away.Check in was very smooth and easy. There was a very helpful visitors handbook and lots of suggestions for things to see and do in the area.Thank you Karen for helping to make our stay so enjoyable."

"Very pricey for what was sadly, a bit run down and in need of renovation.Beds were not in a good state and uncomfortable. A lot of the kitchenware chipped and/or old and in need of replacement. Various electrical things emitting flashing lights during the night didn't help sleep. Wifi unreliable. Overall for the money I feel this wasn't that great to be perfectly honest."

"We have just had the most amazing stay and did not want to leave. What a find, beautiful area, so pretty and lots of wonderful restaurants. The apartment was fabulous, it had everything we needed for our stay and Jérôme and Christelle were truly lovely and friendly. "We loved the swimming pool and the outdoor area including table tennis & badminton. Two options for outdoor dining and large bbq - perfect! We also love the style of the old stone house, typical of this region and restored to a high standard.Inside we had lots of space for our family of 5. We found the upstairs double bedroom too hot (needs air conditioning!) but this was not a problem as our son moved into the large room - with only 5 of us we had lots of options.Location was great - near pretty villages with lots of dining options, 15 mins to intermarche. Lots to see & do in the area including kayaking, caves, castles etc.We love the area and had a fantastic week here!"

"Horrible checkin process. Also your room has to pass inspection before you check-out or your 100 euro deposit is not refunded. Also you have to make and strip beds and haul the sheets and towels out."
