"The property is located in a quiet residential street near to some local shops and about a mile on foot to the Vieux Port - a lovely tree lined stroll. The house is small but perfect for two people. We only used the ground floor - bedroom, shower, wc, kitchen and a nice sunny sitting room leading out into a small garden. NB Access to the basement accommodation is via very steep stairs. Only practical for the young and nimble! The house is a good base from which to explore the wonderful port town...

"Lovely clean and modern house with all mod cons ( only issue was no towels were provided so had to go out first morning to buy some . Lots of bedding etc but no towels which was a little strange) nicely situated for getting to La Rochelle centre and Il de Re , must have a car . "We travelled as a family of 6 and had a fantastic week in August 23. The property is extremely well refurbished and has a fantastic outdoor space. The location is ideal being a 8 - 10 min walk to the marina and old port where are all the restaurants, bars and main shops are. A quieter retreat to get away from the later night hustle and bustle of the main town. Local shop 2 min walk has all the produce you need for the week if you don’t have a car. Old town market is also fantastic and a must....

"Nous avons sejourné dans cette maison pendant 3 jours, nous étions 3 familles. Séjour compliqué... La maison était très sale à notre arrivée, intérieurement comme extérieurement. Une maison laissée à l abandon, avec de l électroménager HS, peu de vaisselle, des toilettes HS, des chambres sans lumière, des robinetteries usées à ne plus pouvoir les fermer, une odeur de moisissure... Même si la maison est bien placée par rapport au centre ville, nous ne recommandons pas ce logement."

"This is a nice spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood, with really nice views over local allotments.As my wife has a disability being able to unload directly in front of the block was helpful but there were quite a few stairs before the lift which were fine for us, but not wheelchair accessible. The checking in details were really easy to follow with photos of parking and key safe, which was great after driving overnight from the UK. Any questions were very promptly answered by our host...

"Je suis venue en avril avec mes amies pour découvrir La Rochelle ! La maison est superbe, le jardin, la terrasse et la salle à manger nous ont permise de passer un très bon moment toutes ensemble. La décoration est très conviviale et la propreté est impeccable ! Ellen et Malo d'ELMA KEYS, nous ont accueillies et on prit le temps de tout nous expliquer tous les coins sympas de la ville ! Nous avons hâte de revenir cet été !!"

"A little home from home. Very comfortable and welcoming. The amenities were fab. The little village had a very friendly bar a tremendous butcher with a huge range of products and a baker's shop with bread to die for. Carine and her daughter were extremely helpful. "Nous avons apprécié la taille de la maison (chacun peut y avoir son espace même en cas de famille nombreuse), le jardin avec sa toile tendue et sa table de ping pong, la proximité à la rochelle et à l’ile de ré (malgré le faux plat sur le retour) et la communication tres facile et agréable avec le proprietaire. Un petit bémol sur notre quinzaine, nous avons eu chaud même la nuit. Tres bonne expérience dans l’ensemble"

"Petite maisonnette T3 proche du centre ville et de l’aquarium Pratique pour séjourner quelques jours mais pas sur du long avec des enfants en bas âge. Avec les escaliers un peu dangereux sur le palier à l’étage. Manque une barrière qui semblait exister à l’époque. Juste un peu bruyant puisque située sur un axe très passant. Stationnement gratuit à proximité. Les informations d’arrivée étaient très claires de la part de la propriétaire."

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

"It was a great location good cheap buses to town every 15 minutes . Lots of nice food right there . The room we had with a third bed for child - the room was way too small for this and hot and stuffy , ok as a double - not ok as a family room . No air con so very hot in heat wave but at least nice opening window .downstairs and pool area very nice …pay for a balcony I should have it would have been much better . "
