"Lovely hotel. Excellent staff, clean room. Great location for exploring La Rochelle by foot. My only comment for suggested improvement is that the bathroom door is a sliding door that does not fully latch. If bathroom privacy is a concern of yours, it might not be the room for you. Also I believe that Air conditioning was meant to be available in my room but it does not actually kick on (it locks and cannot be set below the hotel’s chosen temp). I would have been frustrated if the weather...

"The pool and sauna area closes too early to enjoy it on the evening of arrival. Then, early in the morning, someone started mowing the overgrown lawn with a loud riding mower right next to my first floor window. He could have started on the far part of the lawn to avoid disturbing guests until late morning / early afternoon."
