The Otroiza hotel is a perfect location to base one's self while exploring this magical spot. "Our stay was lovely - we were in Reunion for the weekend and the resort was lovely. Children had a wonderful time at the pool and jumping castle. The unit was clean and tiny - small but completely suitable for its purpose. The resort was clean and fresh and food was delicious. Staff could only speak French in some instance, which was slightly difficult for us but they made very effort to understand and assist. All round a wonderful weekend at Floralys. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint Alexis. The location was perfect and the beach access was exceptional! Our room was very comfortable and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool area. We were three adults traveling - me, my husband, and our daughter. I was pleasantly surprised with the spacious room. The main bedroom was separated by doors to the living area, with a pullout couch for our daughter. The staff were always helpful. The security guards were happily willing to open the upper gates for us when asked so we could park our car closer to our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent and Celine always greeted us with a smile & great conversation! I would highly recommend this hotel to those traveling in the area!"
"Excellent breakfast, lots of drink choices and smoothies. Pool was great, didn’t have any challenges getting a sunbed.
The rooms were super clean, we didn’t see a single bug (which we were expecting). Had a gecko in the room who lived behind our tv who may have managed the bug situation.
Buffet was good but limited selection if you are, or have, a picky eater."

"we were very happy in this hotel. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast tasty even for us - vegans/vegetarians, we especially liked the fried beans and daily potatoes in skin. Centraly located in downtown St. Denis just a few steps away from the ocean. Free drinks at the lobby were very much appreciated. Would love to come back ane day."
"My stay was marvellous. I added my boyfriend to the stay but he couldn’t make it due to documentation and I had completely forgot about it, upon arrival the room was decorated with rose petals and a fruit hamper style plate which I LOVED. I really appreciated the touch even though my boyfriend couldn’t make it, this helped put a smile on what was a disastrous day. All the ladies at reception well kind, helpful and accommodating. I can not wait to visit again and this time for longer. "
