"Der Aufenthalt litt unter Dauerregen, wofür die Gastgeber natürlich nichts konnten. Nur dafür ist das Appartment zu klein und unkomfortabel eingerichtet, das Terrassendach undicht und die Terrasse somt nicht nutzbar, die Sitzgelegenheiten unbequem und zum Trocknen der Sachen keine Hängemöglichkeiten. Die Küche auch nur äußerst sparsam bestückt. Ansonsten toller Garten, alles sauber, herrliche Vorgebirgslandschaft. Bei Sonnenschein sicher alles etwas positiver."

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

Danielle was a very helpful host when we needed anything yet we were left to enjoy the tranquility of the outside areas when we were relaxing. The village had a superb art exhibition that we never dreamed would be possible in a relatively isolated locality. "We had the most amazing fortnight at En Macary. Jean-Claude and Françoise were wonderful hosts going out their way to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. The gite and garden were beyond expectation and the space was brilliant for letting our children roam freely."

"Bon accueil du propriétaire ,Gite pour 6 spacieux, bonne literie mais vieillissant et peu entretenu . Pas de machine à laver, aucune chaine de télévision en français, Piscine non chauffée (21 à 24°en septembre) Paiement obligatoire en livres sterling ce qui a occasionné des frais bancaires. Présence d'animaux , chiens poules et chats."
