"We are tennis fanatics so it was lovely to have a private court in good condition in the grounds. Played every day. Nice pool to cool off. Villa was spotless and spacious and all the appliances worked. Be aware that towels are not provided. Dealing with Vrbo was not easy. We needed to talk to them about a French legal requirement for liability insurance and the only contact number I could find was a USA premium rate line. Cost me £35 for a 7 minute conversation and they failed to call me back...

"Unseasonably chilly and wet weather gave us a very cold welcome to this lovely house which had not been used for a number of weeks. A plea to the agent for temporary warmth led very quickly to a call from owner Caroline who resolved the problem satisfactorily. The house and the weather gradually warmed up, and by the end of the week we were wishing we could stay longer.
