"It rained the first night we were there and water was coming through the front windows. The wood and base boards were not sealed well and were already water logged. Mini water falls of rain got into our suitcases and work bags. The house is in need of some Upkeep and work especially the kitchen, bathrooms, and main bedroom where the water leak happened. "Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids."
