"This place was fantastic. It’s right on the beach and the staff are super friendly. La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. It’s not super fancy, so don’t expect the four seasons, but it’s a great place to stay, highly recommend. "

"Pros: Excellent in all respects. Rogier was very kind & helpful. The only downside was as the area of all apartment blocks could be windy it would be better if balcony had glass curtains."

"The hotel is ideally sited on the sea front for going to either of the beaches or the promenade. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite throughout our stay. The room was a good size, nice bathroom with walk in shower and very good air conditioning in the bedroom."

"This apartment is absolutely gorgeous, all brand new and photos don’t do it justice. Locked gates make you feel secure and the place is simply beautiful. The best bit is the huge sun terrace which makes you feel like you’re in a posh resort, we spent most nights up there. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the Mar Menor beach although we preferred the beach in Pilar de La Horada as the Mar Menor is full of seaweed (huge fertiliser dump still causing problems), so worth having a car to drive out...

"Superb, well priced hotel. Booked with short notice and was pleased with everything. Comfortable beds and nice, clean, modern rooms. There's an area on the ground floor where you can sit with desks. The staff were kind enough to let me stay there for a short work call after checking out. The WiFi is good enough for video calling. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"The hotel is very nice and modern feeling. The room was comfortable and had all the things you might expect. Temperature in the room varied a bit. It had both large opening windows and AC, but still given the temperature outside (~30C during the day when I was there) it was hard to get a good balance with those and avoiding getting bugs and flies coming in. Didn't try any of the food options. It is close to a few shops and restaurants (including a supermarket) and bus stops for Torrevieja (bus every ~30 mins or so)."

"It's a very nice hotel. All rooms have a balcony and air conditioning. Minor issues in my room were dealt with quickly. There is a beach bar and a terrace bar on the top floor where the sunsets are glorious. Just bear in mind that because of the hotel location, on the beach and in the middle of Santa Pola, it can get a little noisy at times."

"Great hotel ideal for a stopover before a flight and free secure underground parking when we were there. Very good buffet breakfast and dinner and bar prices very reasonable. It is located in the middle of a newish large industrial estate so no other bars or restaurants around without driving. Very quiet other than planes heading to Alicante airport to land; this obviously depends on wind direction. Clean modern bedrooms with walk in shower. Swimming pool was a bonus also. Like most Spanish hotel no kettles in the room."
