"It was a great location and super close to the beach. We appreciated the outdoor shower to rinse off before going in. The garage door could use some paint to make the property look more appealing at first look. We ran out of hot water quickly and I had to take a frigid shower. Living room couch was broken and we had to search for a breaker box to fix a flipped breaker to turn on living room light. Not really enough room in the living room for everyone in our party (10 people) to sit together....

"We enjoyed this investment property home since it had a small pool/hot tub on the property and was close to the beach. However, I was extremely disappointed in the overall management of maintenance and felt a little unsafe. The stairs and both decks were rotting, had loose or missing banister spokes, a split-wood step, outside lighting on stairs and driveway were burned out or maybe missing bulbs. "I like how clean and homie the Zachary house made my family feel. It felt like home. The manager was easy to get ahold of, when you have good wifi service. Loved how quiet the neighborhood was."

"You absolutely cannot beat the location of this property. It was as described and had pretty much everything you need. The only problem we had was the lockbox to where the key for storage for the grill / other amenities (assuming washer and dryer) we could not get unlocked. Other than that, everything was awesome. Will be looking to stay at this property again."

"The house is located right on the beach with wonderful views. It was close to entertainment and local stores for anything you might have forgotten. The house is as described and pictured. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back."

"This house has a nice little fenced in yard for your pets, good size pool, cute fire pit area with chairs to relax and an outdoor shower (Area was dirty so we didn't use it.) If you're needing last minute things there is a Dollar General within 5 min and a gas station right around the corner. Also, I highly recommend visiting Way West Grill & Pizzeria, which is also right around the corner. Their food was delicious and they deliver! Overall, this house could use a little more attention to detail...

"Very teen/kid friendly, our boys really loved the arcade games and the foosball table, also the fire pit was neat. The only issue I had really wasn’t an issue, we didn’t know the downstairs was in the listing as a bedroom. But we really enjoyed our stay and may be back in the future."

"This was an adorable little cottage, close to the Seawall, blocks away from one of our favorite Galveston restaurants, with a back patio space to die for! Our hosts were very accommodating and we enjoyed ourselves immensely."

"This place was excellent. We enjoyed it. This was our first VRBO and we will do it again. Couple of things….We only had one trash bag which wasn’t great for 7 people for 3 days. We also had to go buy body soap. Be careful when walking to the beach via the backyard, there was some sewer overflow issues. It’s just as easy to walk via the road. The beach was mossy but our kids didn’t care one bit. They loved the waves and we loved resting."

"We had a group of 15 friends and family leaving for a cruise and were able to all stay together the night before we left. The house was spacious with plenty of room for all us. The pool was nice and refreshing as well. The location was perfect for us as well."
