"The room had a comfortable sitting area away from where you sleep. The queen bed is very comfortable but my preference is a king bed which is not available. The bathroom is a generous size unlike most hotels with a smaller bathroom. The staff are very helpful. We were far too busy and did not use the spa facilities even though we had booked for three nights. I am an early riser where the view from the balcony looking over the St Lawrence River before the sun is on the horizon was awe inspiring with the sky and river ablaze in many colours. The only negative is when checking in we were told since we had booked with Expedia we do not get housekeeping if we want housekeeping we would have to pay extra. This was a big surprise to us. No where on the Expedia Auberge des Falaises site could we find housekeeping is not included. If you use other Booking Services they state that housekeeping is included in the package."
