"Last of us meets Sponge Bob. The hotel was wonderful for us but not for the usual reasons. The place had a nautical theme with an interesting galley/rooms/dining area. The place seemed empty but there were people checking in and out periodically. The staff was excellent--completely helpful, willing to accommodate where possible, all in all around some of the best we experienced in Spain. The odd parts to the building-- the nautical sitting room which had no one in it, The Gym was included was across abridge--oddly enough the Spa was closed so no one is in the whole building. Gym was fine for a work out but during daylight only as I don't think the shower/locker area had power. In a few places there were beer bottles/wine bottles that were not cleared away, god only knows how long they were there. This added to the experience in the eeriness quotient of the place, but not in a creepy or scary way. The dining room was interesting. the breakfast was good. The bar/tavern is closed, but looked cool in a Long John silver way. All told, this place seemed lost in time, run down around the edges, but speaking of better days. We loved it, but not everyone will."
"Perfect location, just a few steps from the aqueduct. Rooms were small and simple but clean. The breakfast is very reasonable priced.
Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and nice.
The rooftop bar has beautiful views but the staff there was rather rude."
"The hotel is clean and well maintained, but the building and rooms definitely feel dated. There are no USB outlets anywhere, so you’ll need to bring your own adapters to charge devices.
The restaurant is good overall, but the quality isn’t consistent. I ordered the same dish twice — it was excellent the first time, but disappointing the second.
Staff are friendly, but you really need to know some Spanish here; English is limited.
Despite the quirks, it’s a comfortable stay and I rate it 4 stars."
"When I had a problem with the coffee maker shorting out all the electrical in the room, they sent a maintenance person to reset the main breaker in the hallway quickly so my room had power again.
The appliance should be replaced."
