Breakfast and coffee was good. Dryer had been pulled from the wall and left under the sink. The remote control did not turn on the TV. Outside exit door was left unlocked due to poor door closure. The entrance to the property could use an update. It was very narrow. Property was under renovation. Outside property was poorly maintained. Disappointed in the lack of maintenance. It was not up to Hampton Inn quality. Front desk people were not normal Texas friendly.

Not a good stay. The lobby smelled wet like mold upon entering and was very muggy. The hallways were hot and muggy the entire stay. The smell of mold/dampness was also present in the room, even with the air conditioner. The pool was not available. The side door to the main floor doesn’t close all the way and allows entry to the building by anyone in the area. On the first floor near our room a smoke detector/fire alarm hung down off of the ceiling with disconnected wires the entire stay. While sitting on a booth seat for breakfast in the lobby something dripped on my head from the ceiling. Would not choose to stay here again. We requested rooms near each other and were told that wasn’t available, yet the same evening that we checked in someone checked into the room next to us about an hour after we did. If that room was available why wasn’t it offered when we requested rooms together. At late check in for our other family members they waited at the front desk for 15 minutes (midnight) for a hotel employee to help them. No one was at the front desk for that entire time, which is also concerning for safety. Anyone could have come in during that time and just been in the building. Disappointed.

Even though under renovations, everything was clean, staff very helpful, accessible ice and vending machines, and breakfast bar was great with eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins etc. I love the Hampton and would recommend this one.

Very nice. Check in was a breeze. The lady that checked us in was a delight! So sweet. Room was nice, clean as well as bathroom. Loved that there was lots of towels🤗 Not that we needed them all, but nice to have instead of having to call for additional. Every person working at the front were happy & very welcoming.
