"We received a great welcome by the staff who were very helpful and gave us all the information we required ( she had a wonderful gravelly voice). The staff member spoke clear slow french to make sure I understood ( but she also had very good English) the room was basic but had a sea view and air conditioning and toiletries so everything we needed. It is possible to swim across from the hotel ( we paddled) and a nice walk into the town centre/harbour Nice buffet breakfast the next morning and you could either sit inside or out on the terrace. The staff were lovely making it a nice relaxed stay , we would love to visit again"

"Das Haus ist wunderbar. Extrem gut ausgestattet, alles da, was man braucht. Ein toller Garten mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Es ist alles perfekt. Und die Lage ist einmalig. Ganz ruhig, nur die Frösche quaken nachts. Hier dürfte man es sogar in der Hochsaison gut aushalten können, wenn die Insel voll ist. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da, da ist die Ile d'Oléron am schönsten."
