Creux du Van is a famous cliff in the French speaking part on Switzerland. Often called "the grand canyon of Switzerland". A great spot for watching sunsets, hiking, even camping.
It is quite a hike to reach the top, but with a view like that it is very rewarding in the end.

Excellent Hotel

"Very nice hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Restaurant for evening meals was faultless. Breakfast included both hot and cold. Something for everyone. There is some wear and tear here and there noticeably in the corridors between the rooms but this is a minor issue. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to the area."
