"Our stay at Steph's and John's home was perfect. Very authentic French home, it was very clean and shabby chic. Located right in the heart of the old part of town next to a beautiful bakery and great restaurants just across the street. They greeted us personally at our arrival l giving us great tips on restaurants wines and places to visit in the valley. The valley was fantastic many beautiful chateau's and countryside we will definitely come back and experience it again!"

"More than most properties - Gille’s sprawling 16th, 17th and other centuries place will mould to your wishes. No heated pool for us and the games room remained quiet. But a wonderful maze with parking for only the Le Mans champs ( like myself). Everything is close and walkable."

"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"Nous avons passé un séjour au top, la maison est très spacieuse, il y a eu de quoi occuper tout le monde avec la table de Ping pong, le billard, le filet pour badminton, le baby foot, la piscine et j’en passe … nous avons vraiment pu nous rassembler tout en ayant de l’espace pour tout le monde ! C’est la meilleure location que j’ai pu faire et surtout merci à la gérante immobilière qui a été super accueillante souriante et bienveillante. Je recommande sans hésiter !!!!"

"A pretty area but property is a basement so holiday let does not actually look across the river. At the time of our occupation, there was a lot of rain & the gite smelt a bit damp. There were very limited eateries & all are a good walk or ride away. The property was clean & it was nice to have bikes available complimentary."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The photos do not do it justice, it is a lot more spacious than it appears online. It’s the ideal location to visit nearby chateaux and places of interest. It was lovely waking up and looking out onto the vineyard. "Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "
