Just grab a spot on the extensive deck area and enjoy the sunshine. How about some open-air foosball? If you feel more like a swim, enjoy a dip in the private artificial lake based on the property. The deluxe full kitchen (not to be confused with the swanky outdoor kitchen based around the grill!) features upscale touches like a deep-freeze refrigerator and plenty of cooking tools to help you assemble meals. Each bedroom features a ceiling fan and a private en suite bathroom. Pull the room-darkening shades closed for extra peaceful sleep. Air-conditioning units will keep everyone cool and relaxed. Sunshine and fresh air are regular visitors to this home, and you're always welcome to come in.

Nice Home and View~No response from Owner on Issues
This was a very nice house with an awesome view of the volcano. The hosts on the property were extremely nice and helpful. We had some issues on the stay and tried contacting the owner through the number the host gave and through the management company. No response unfortunately. Did try and I waited to get a response. When we arrived, we were shocked the home had no supplies in the kitchen. They had a little thing of salt and that is it. No other spices, no saran wrap, no aluminum foil, no anything else. Every vacation rental we've stayed at has had at least some helpful supplies. We had to spend a lot of extra money just to have some basics the house should have had. Unfortunately there is a house next to this home with several big dogs that bark most all night.

Best place to stay in La Fortuna!!
The pictures don’t do it justice. It is an absolutely amazing piece of property. Extremely well-maintained. The entire property you get to yourself. A giant man-made pool/lake that has river water and you can swim in. There are monkeys on the property. Amazing wildlife. You are in your own Sanctuary. It is extremely close to town. The local caretakers are very hospitable and clean up after you, even though it wasn’t expected at all! There is air conditioning and all of the rooms so your sleep is perfect. The main living areas are not air-conditioned, but there are fans and the temperature is moderate. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic Family Vacation Experience!
Aqua Vida was a fabulous spot…and the grounds were even more beautiful than described! The kitchen was well-equipped and everything worked as promised. The Location was great and easily accessible to restaurants, supermarkets, and a variety of activities in the area. All of us (both young and old!) thoroughly enjoyed our time together at Aqua Vida!!

Absolutely stunning!
Our stay in La Fortuna was amazing! This house is perfect! The view of Arenal Volcano from the house cannot be beat. The house itself is beautiful, well-built and very comfortable and clean. We had contractors with use who loved the home itself (hard to please them!) You hardly want to be indoors however, because there is so much to do around the home and La Fortuna. The house has a very large, perfectly manicured yard with beautiful flowers, trees, frogs, bunny rabbits, bridges, a man-made lake/pool that you can swim in, etc. Our teenagers loved exploring around the home with flashlights at night, seeing all of the creatures around. We went on a coffee, chocolate and sugar cane tour, as well as a sloth tour in La Fortuna. Then, went on the Mistico Arenal hanging bridges park & walk - also beautiful and great fun. All was amazing and hopefully we can return to La Fortuna one day and I would love to stay at this home again!

Great location tucked away but very close to La fortuna. Spectacular view of volcano and the back yard was wonderful. The bedrooms had AC but living room/kitchen did not so that area got pretty hot.

Absolutely stunning home in La Fortuna with excellent location for trips to surrounding attractions. The interior of home was decorated so tastefully with beautiful wood sculptures. Each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom and beautiful views of Arenal. Pictures don't do it justice. The landscaping was incredible with all kinds of different plants attracting so many different birds and wildlife. On the last day we were there a landscaper brought over a downed tree limb with a sloth in it by tractor for us to see. It was so thoughtful of him and was one of the highlights of our trip for adults and grandkids ages 9 and 11. The sloth slowly made his way to a nearby tree and climbed up. We got to see him up close. Amazing. The landscaper didn't have to do that but thought we would enjoy and we did! The property manager made check-in easy and was available to check us in after dark and show us the home. Can't think of a thing we would change. Incredible home!

Magical La Fortuna Property!
We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Aqua Vida! It is a beautiful home, in a private setting, yet close to everything La Fortuna/Arenal has to offer. We had some trouble finding it (Waze and Google Maps are a little off) as we arrived at night in heavy rain, but the property manager was kind enough to do a video call with us and help us get there. We will definitely be back!

La Fortuna Fun
This property was absolutely amazing. The house is set in its own secluded paradise with amazing volcano views. The home was 5 star with everything you'd expect and then some in amenities. Relaxing on the veranda was a highlight of our trip. We were referred by the property owner to Rain Forrest Explorers for our tour coordination and they were incredible. Highly recommend them. They were able to set us up with local Chef for dinner which ended up being another highlight of our trip. Pura Vida!!

EXCEPTIONAL Beautiful house, beautiful location
We've stayed at premium properties in Florida, Bahamas, Hawaii, and others, and this is one of our favorite locations. The pictures are great, but the actual house and location even better. Check-in was easy. When we arrived too late to get a rental car and we had no food (!), Angie helped us order a pizza in spanish, gave directions to the delivery guy, and was on site to help when he arrived. The house was spectacular, very clean upon arrival. The views of Arenal fantastic. The grounds were amazing, and perhaps our favorite feature was the massive man made pond/swimming pool with clear azure water. Location was superb, close to town - we could walk to town (~20 minutes), or it was a fast drive - yet very quiet and secluded on the property. Lots of great restaurants. Less than 15 minutes to Tabacon (don't miss it!), and only about 30 min to Arenal itself.

The home was beautiful, spacious and well appointed. The housekeeper was very nice. The grounds of the property were amazing! The location was nicely secluded from the traffic in town. We would love to stay here again if we were in the Fortuna area.

Difficulty with Property Management
We had a poor experience with Vacasa. I had reached out before our trip asking about a chef for the night we arrived or restaurant/activity suggestions in the area. I was told it was not a good idea to get a chef for the day we arrived and there were “ a lot of restaurants in Fortuna”. We weren’t given any help or suggestions. Our arrival was disastrous. We could not communicate with Vacasa as we were lost for nearly an hour trying to find the house. It started our trip on the wrong foot. The home is lovely. The groundskeeper was also lovely. We had trouble communicating and the management company was NO help at all. I would never pay the additional fee or rent a Vacasa managed home again. No one is local and they are not a service for guests.

Wonderful house!
The property is very nice and clean. Property manager is very attentive and responsive almost immediately. The views of the volcano are amazing! We did swim in the swimming pool and thought it was refreshing and very clear water! Wonderful house for a family (7 of us) and I would highly recommend! A little difficult to find with Google maps but WAYS sends you to the correct location!
